Summer Intensive Residential Training in Californian Massage
Intensive trainings allow you to experience and incorporate the technique without distractions and in a reduced time frame. We recommend that you complete some of the levels in this format. The experience is unforgettable.
Training details
We will take you to a typical natural environment of Catalonia, with a lot of peace, located in the municipality of La Llacuna (Anoia), with its lush pine forests. We will enjoy a few days of tranquility, peace and lots of learning.
We offer you the complete training in Californian massage.
- The basic course focuses on becoming aware of your body, harmonizing your breath and energy to connect with your center (hara). You will learn to connect with this space within yourself. From relaxation, you will enter a meditative state that will connect you intuitively with your heart. Through this state you will be able to enter into fusion with the other person. You will learn to work with your body weight in order not to injure yourself, and to play with fluidity each part of the body, to release emotions and tensions, thus freeing the nervous system.
- The focus of the intermediate course is to complement and expand the training received in the basic course. You will learn to understand and work deeper layers of the body, its structure, its mechanics, muscle actions, muscle insertion and origin, etc. The objective of the intermediate course is to release deep-rooted tensions in the body, using new techniques and sequences, such as: mobilizations, tractions, stretching, hammocks, torsions…..
- The advanced course is the culmination of the whole learning process, it is a course that will take you to a new dimension in your work, you will achieve a complete understanding of this type of massage. We will experience sequences that come from Thai, Deep Tissue and Lomi Lomi, which will bring us a wealth of resources, and a new way of understanding the body as a whole.

Intensive Format
The main advantages of this format compared to the regular training courses we offer at the school are as follows:
- Intensive morning and afternoon classes: over the course of seven days we will do very deep and intense work, for which we will spend around eight hours a day studying and practising Californian massage.
- The training programme is very extensive, but the method we use is the repetition of the massage sequences, and in this case very close repetitions in time, so that the practice is well established in the student’s memory.
- We will start each day with a specific work of body awareness. They will be delicious blends prepared by Linda, directly for you, which will help us to harmonize the training.

Price per course:
Until June 15: 790€
After that date: 890€.

The stay will be paid directly in cash at La Cal Faro.
Registration
300€. The rest of the amount will be paid at the time of pick-up/formation.
Cancellation policies:
- Cancellations until May 31: Full refund of the registration fee. After this date, the registration fee will not be refunded.
- Once the course is finished you will have a supervision by the instructor and the Certification of Attendance to the course.

Cal Faro (Anoia, Barcelona) is a place located in the middle of nature. A beautiful farmhouse located in the Sierra d’Ancosa, 700 meters above sea level, which offers a space of health and reunion with your essence.
